Loopy‘s Happy Day in PIKA Park
Pushing open the heavy oak door, Loopy stepped not into a store, but into a miniature world. There were no sterile aisles, only winding cobblestone paths.
The air smelled of fresh paper, sweet plastic, and a hint of something magical, like ozone after a rainstorm.

Loopy's heart thumped a little faster. The Starlight Buddies series should be near the Celestial Creek, Loopy thought, remembering the park map. Loopy trotted past bubbling streams where boxes floated by in tiny leaf-boats, but the spot where the Starlight Buddies should have been was empty, save for a small sign that read: "Off on a new adventure! Back soon."

Outside, Loopy found a sun-drenched bench and carefully peeled back the tape. There was no foil bag inside, only a soft, silken pouch. With trembling paws, Loopy loosened the drawstring and peeked inside.

A tiny, pearlescent figure lay nestled within. It was the Moonbeam Mouse, but it was unlike any Loopy had ever seen. Its body was cast in a translucent, glitter-filled resin that caught the sunlight and fractured it into a hundred tiny rainbows. It was a special, uncatalogued edition. It was perfect.

Clutching the precious mouse, Loopy beamed. The day hadn't gone according to plan at all. It had gone better. Loopy left PIKA Park not just with a completed collection, but with the warm, happy feeling that the park had a little bit of magic reserved just for a small, hopeful beaver. And that was the best surprise of all.
